Patch and Match
This 4-hour course will provide students with the basic theory of drywall repair (removing, replacing and texturing). Students will learn how to use proper tools in restoring drywall and techniques for patching holes, lightboxes, cracks, etc. The instructor will manage the class within proper safety standards and suggest manufacturing specifications for installing proper drywall and insulation. (4 hour)
Texturing (Apprentice)
Students will gain the skills and knowledge they need to be able to identify different types of textures and select the appropriate texture materials and tools for properly applying hard and soft textures using spray and/or hand applications. It includes 16 hours of hands-on practice. (24 hours)
Texturing (Journeyman)
Students will gain the skills and knowledge they need to be able to identify different types of textures and select the appropriate texture materials and tools for properly applying hard and soft textures using spray and/or hand applications. Includes basic hands-on practice. (4 hours)
